Position:  Development and Marketing Manager

Reports to:  President/CEO

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field with 3 years of experience with fundraising, event planning and public relations.
  • Experience should include development and execution of events, fundraising and donor cultivation, writing, preparation of published materials, promotional activities, effective utilization of all mass media and use of Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, e-mail marketing, social media, computer graphics and database management.
  • Six years of related experience may be substituted for the degree

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate and grow all events for the organization, i.e.: Annual Meeting, Art Show/Silent Auction, 5k Run/Walk, Getting to Know Passages, Walk of Trees, special fund raising events.
  • Responsible for oversight and implementation of fundraising program. This includes but is not limited to corporate and individual donor cultivation and communications, i.e.: donor recognition events, annual fund appeal campaign, receipt of donations, thank you letters, maintaining donor database, mailing lists.
  • Responsible for creation and distribution of all external public relations materials including media communications, videos, annual report, post cards, newsletters, brochures, and any other marketing or printing needs.
  • Responsible for website maintenance and social media communications.
  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of ongoing development and marketing plan for the organization.
  • Assist with grant research and grant writing.
  • Attend expos, conferences, and job fairs as Passages’ representative.
  • Assist with marketing Bridge 333 Art Studio.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Meet all aspects of the agency/department policies and procedures, personnel policies, and safety regulations.
  • Meet standards of OSHA and CARF relevant to position

Physical Requirements:

Physical mobility to travel and handle/set up displays

Ability to perform the following: climbing, driving, grasping, hearing, lifting 40-50 pounds, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, walking.
