05 May Passages Announces Summer Youth Enrichment Program for 2016

Passages will again host their Summer Youth Enrichment Program. This program is

designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities to practice and enhance

academic, social, and vocational skills in a structured and fun environment.

 

The summer program is geared for Individuals age 12-22 with an intellectual disability

who are enrolled in a Whitley County school program.

 

This year’s program will be held at First Church of God, 1200 West Depoy Drive, Columbia City, Indiana. The program will is from June 13-July 22, 2016, and sessions will meet Monday through Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Class Size is Limited

Application Deadline:  Friday, May 27, 2016

 

Activities will include field trips to local and area attractions,

as well as games, arts and crafts, and many other summer fun events.

Students will also benefit from enhanced academic experiences

including studies in science, history and patriotism, the arts, and career exploration.
