About the Art Show and Silent Auction

When you think of art and artistic talent, many ideas may come to mind.  The Passages Creative Learning Center has a vibrant art program which focuses on canvas, photography, and ceramic art, as well as other areas of artistic expression depending on the interests and talents of our artists. For the men and women who participate, the outcomes far exceed expectations. We see adults, some with very limited verbal communication skills, able to communicate through their art.  We see adults with severe anxiety challenges able to relax as they express themselves through their art.   And we also see a spirit in day programming that has a positive impact on the men and women we serve, as well as on staff.

Art Show Information

Our Passages art show was held on March 7th, 2019 at Ceruti’s Eagle Glen at the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Columbia City.  Nearly 100 pieces were sold and over $3,000 was raised through sponsorships and purchases for the Passages art program and our artists.

Proceeds raised were used to purchase lighting which was used to showcase the artwork at the 2019 art show.  Additionally, supplies for the program as well as other items selected by our Passages artists and staff will be purchased with the proceeds.  A portion raised will also go back to our artists.

Save the date for our 2020 Art Exhibit and Silent Auction set for Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at Ceruti’s Eagle Glen at Eagle Glen Golf Club in Columbia City.

Passages Art Show was introduced in 2011 to help bring revenue to the art program and to showcase the amazing talent of the individuals served by Passages.
