Art. Auction. Appetite. Amazing!

You are cordially invited to our first Passages Art Auction and Banquet, taking place March 12, 2020 at Indian Springs Middle School. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

You might have been familiar with the Art Show and Silent Auction we’ve done in years past. We’ve ramped up this event this year to include a silent auction, a plated dinner, and a LIVE auction! It’s sure to be a wonderful evening. And, all to support the Passages mission of passionately leading or assisting people with disabilities into a thriving and meaningful life!

The fundraising focus for all of Passages’ events in 2020 is two-fold: to fund a $50,000 wheelchair accessible van for our clients; and, to fund a $30,000 high tunnel green house.

Why Art?

When you think of art and artistic talent, many ideas may come to mind.  The Passages Creative Learning Center has a vibrant art program which focuses on canvas, photography, and ceramic art, as well as other areas of artistic expression depending on the interests and talents of our artists. For the men and women who participate, the outcomes far exceed expectations. We see adults, some with very limited verbal communication skills, able to communicate through their art.  We see adults with severe anxiety challenges able to relax as they express themselves through their art.   And we also see a spirit in day programming that has a positive impact on the men and women we serve, as well as on staff.
