Internship Opportunity ~ Creative and Performing Arts

Passages Inc. in Columbia City has openings for an unpaid internship in the Spotlight Avenue
Performing Arts Program.
Spotlight Avenue was formed in June of 2015 as a multi-disciplinary performing arts program for
adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The program is comprised of weekly sessions
focused in skill building and socialization. The progress of these sessions will culminate in a small
performance at the end of February.
The responsibilities of the internship may include but aren’t limited to working directly with performers
in music, speaking roles, choreography, set building, costuming, videography, photography, production
planning, and backstage logistics. The role this position takes may depend upon the experience and
educational focus of the intern.
The individual in this position must be willing to learn and work with a team. No specific experience is
required, but any relevant skills/experience is welcomed. A background check and mantoux test will be
required prior to beginning this position.
Length of internship depends on applicants potential scheduling needs.
