Summer Youth Enrichment Program

Passages Summer Youth Enrichment Program is a summer program designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities to practice and enhance academic, social, and vocational skills in a structured and fun environment.

Activities will include field trips to local and area attractions, as well as games, arts and crafts, and many other summer fun events.  Participants will also benefit from enhanced academic experiences including studies in science, history and patriotism, the arts, and career exploration.

This program is for individuals ages 12 through 22 with an intellectual disability who are enrolled in a Whitley County school program.

In a COVID-19 world, the Summer Youth Program has taken on a new life. In the summer of 2020, we were still able to serve youth on a more individualized basis. We took some young men and women to the Botanical Conservatory, to the Zoo, and more.

We will post dates for 2021 when we know more about how to move ahead. Please contact Taylor Hartsock with questions or for more details.
